ABOUT US

Interact Club is an organization focused on service for the community for high school students sponsored by Rotary International. The main objective of the club is to help foster leadership skills, encourage community service, and promote international understanding. It also helps students develop a sense of empathy, responsibility, and teamwork while helping the community.

Our club specifically helps students build responsibility and engage in the community. We do this through many projects we have done. One project we have done is adopting a road, Beneva Rd between Clark Rd and Bee Ridge Rd, and hosting a clean-up. We also help students gain responsibility through the Rotary club that sponsors us. One way this trait was accomplished was sending two of our club members to the RYLA camp sponsored by the Rotary club.

At club this week we will have a Rotarian, David Bielby, coming in and speaking about next years big project. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend. The meeting will begin at the normal time, 2:15, in the junior quad and end at normal time, 3:30. Please be on time for our guest speaker.

At club this week we will be tie dying t-shirts and having or end of year party. The meeting will begin at the normal time, 2:15, under the pavilion and end at normal time, 3:30.
